How JokerPrice uses these dates

Event rules are off by default. In the pricing calendar you can switch on a whole kind (for example every school break) or a single event, with an adjustment from −30% to +100% and an optional minimum stay.

The adjustment applies to open nights inside the event window for properties in the listed cities, or anywhere in the country for a nationwide date; an event never reaches a property in another country. It comes after the market shape, supply pressure, booking pace, weekend, last-minute and far-out rules and before short-gap discounts. Your own custom date rule on the same night takes precedence, fixed nightly overrides are never changed, and every price stays within your minimum and maximum.

When several events cover one night, the largest adjustment is used rather than adding them together, and every event is named in the night's explanation with its certainty and source.

Observed impact is measured from tracked public calendars and is shown only once there are at least 100 observed listing-nights in the event and in the four weeks before it.
