A commercial licence for API data in products and services you sell comes with API Business; the terms set out what each plan covers.
- All 8 /api/v1 endpoints
- The MCP server for AI assistants, using the same keys
- Usage per key in the Data & API page
Accounts created before paid plans
Until the end of Dec 15, 2026, accounts created before paid plans keep the earlier allowance: up to 5 keys with 60 requests a minute and 5,000 a day each. Their free trial runs until then, or for 30 days from sign-up if that ends later. After the trial the API needs a plan; nothing is charged unless you choose one.
How requests are counted
- Every authenticated request counts once against the account, whichever key sends it, including requests that return an error after the key is accepted.
- All of an account’s keys share its daily and per-minute limits, and requests from a revoked key still count for that day.
- Each page of
/api/v1/listingsis one request; a city with 2,000 listings takes 4 requests atlimit=500. - Each MCP tool call is one API request, on the hosted endpoint and the local server alike. Connecting to the hosted endpoint and listing its tools do not count.
- Counters reset each minute and at 00:00 UTC. A
429response includesRetry-After.
Questions
Do I need a card to start?
No. Every new account starts with a 30-day free trial that includes the API; create an account and a key. You pay only when you choose a plan, at checkout on Polar, which handles VAT and receipts as merchant of record.
What happens when the free trial ends?
Without a plan, API and MCP requests return 402 PLAN_REQUIRED with a plain message. Your keys stay valid and work again as soon as you choose a plan. Your workspace stays readable, with recovery exports, and nothing is deleted.
What happens when I reach the daily limit?
Requests return 429 DAILY_LIMIT until the next UTC day. Nothing is charged per request.
Can I use the data commercially?
API Business includes a commercial licence for API data in products and services you sell; the other plans and the free trial cover your own business and tools. The terms set out both. Figures are estimates from public data; JokerPrice is not affiliated with Airbnb, Gathern or Agoda.
How do I cancel?
Open Manage billing on your account page. The plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. After that, once the free trial has also ended, the API returns 402 PLAN_REQUIRED and the workspace is read-only until you choose a plan again.
